What is this?
Alongside web design and development services, I offer low-cost managed hosting on my personal VPS (Virtual Private Server).
This service is offered exclusively to clients and is a completely optional addition to the initial services I provide; clients are more than welcome to ask about changes to their hosting configuration or request their site(s) to be relocated, taken offline, or configured with additional/replacement domain names at any time.
In short, this is a quick and easy method for getting a website online as soon as it is ready to go live, because I use the same VPS for the development and testing of the site - which also makes things easier for me. :)
What can I expect?
Prices, features and resource allocation have yet to be determined, but once the service goes live you can expect:
- No setup fees
- Managed hosting (this means you aren't required to set up your hosting account and manage it yourself - I can do this for you)
- Extremely reliable uptime (see below for server specifications!)

What about Domain Names?
If you'd like the domain name(s) for your site(s) to be taken care of for you, I can register and manage them on your behalf using the free DNS service at http://freedns.afraid.org/.
Combined with the hosting service detailed above, this means your domain registration, hosting, and everything in between can be taken care of without you having to lift a finger - for as little as £2.00/mo (not inclusive of domain registration costs)!
